• My child completed the 1st challenge. Can their name appear on the leaderboard?

  Congratulations on a great reading achievement! In order to appear in the leaderboard, your child will need to complete the extra milestones required for the leaderboard. A little extra reading will get them there! Good luck!

• What happens if my child only completes some of the milestones in the 1st level Challenge?

  Each reader must complete all three milestones to get the 1st level Challenge certificate. These milestones are 15 books, 30 stars and 60 minutes within the challenge period.

• How long does my child have to complete the Challenge Milestones?

  The National Read-Aloud Challenge runs from June 1st 2024 - August 31st 2024. During the Challenge, readers can either work towards completing the 1st level Challenge, or choose to progress to include the leaderboard milestones too.

• Does my child need to complete both challenge milestones?

  It is entirely up to your child! This should be fun, not forced! Reading with the Fonetti app is intrinsically rewarding, additionally there are Challenge certificates and prizes along the way to encourage children to read more.
