How can I reset a pupil's password?
Before resetting a pupil’s password, remember that when you first added your pupils, you would have received an email containing their login details from
noreply@tx.fonetti.com It might be helpful to check your email history for a reminder before proceeding with a reset. Note that this data is only available for download from email for 7 days after receipt.
To reset a pupil’s password, follow these steps:
- Go to the CLASSES section and select the class you need to edit by clicking Manage Class.
- Check the box next to the pupil(s) whose password you want to reset. If you wish to select all pupils in the class, increase the number of rows per page to ensure all pupils are visible, then check the box next to Pupils to select everyone.
- Click the RESET PASSWORDS tab at the top of the pupil list.
- An email with the new login details will be sent to the person who requested the reset.
Please note that when you reset a pupil’s password, their existing QR code and password will change. They will need the new login details to access Fonetti in school and at home. If they were logged in previously, they will be logged out and will need to log in again using the new QR code.
